Frequently asked questions

My brakes squeal. Can I still drive?

A high squeal means the pads are nearing the end: you have a little time left. A metallic grind means metal is rubbing on the rotor. Have it checked quickly: every stop damages the rotor a little more.

Do the rotors need replacing along with the pads?

Not always. We measure the rotor thickness and check the surface. If they're still within the manufacturer's limits, we keep them and replace only the pads.

How long does a brake job take?

Often half a day, depending on the parts and the number of wheels. We give you a realistic time when you drop off the vehicle.
