Air conditioning and heating in Repentigny

An A/C that blows warm is losing refrigerant somewhere. We find the leak before we recharge.

Recharging a leaking system means paying twice. We add a tracer dye, find the leak, repair it, then recharge. On the heating side, a defroster that can't keep up in January is a safety problem before it's a comfort problem.

Frequently asked questions

Why is my A/C blowing warm air?

Most often, the system has lost refrigerant through a leak. It can also be the compressor clutch, a blocked condenser or a faulty fan. We find the cause before we recharge.

Is a recharge enough?

Rarely. An A/C system is sealed: if it's low on refrigerant, it's leaking. Recharging without fixing the leak means paying for a recharge that will leak out again.

Why have the A/C checked in winter?

The compressor also handles defrosting: it dries the air sent to the windshield. With the system out of order, the windshield takes much longer to clear in winter.
